Greyhound Bus sign

West Coast Road Trip {format} 15:14 Jake Warga

"I’ve noticed, talking with people, that it seems the less you pay for transportation, the closer you get to Jesus." Public transport travellers, ridin’ the rails, and living on the dog. "Next day, it’s greyhound time. Our driver’s retired Air Force: hearing aid, glasses, fake teeth. ‘I’m bionic man!’ he says when I ask him, ’What time do we get to Grant’s Pass?’ He doesn’t wear his seatbelt. He keeps sticking his finger in his ear adjusting his hearing aid thinking it’s feedback he’s hearing. I hear it too, a squealing sound."
