NPR has cut about 60 jobs and 2 series: News & Notes and Day to Day (which runs our twice per-month HV/D2D series of stories.)

D2D and N&N’s last shows are March 20 2009. NPR’s press release has who, what and why: “Tough Economy Forces NPR to Address Unexpected Shortfall In Revenue.”

UPDATE: There’s now a Save Day to Day group on Facebook.
